Question: Why is there a blue shadow or ring around the moon? By *** on 2022-01-12
Answer: It’s due to the light being affected by all the atmospheric objects, such as fog or clouds or moisture in the air. This causes light to hit these natural prisms and the light isn’t very powerful off the moon so the wavelengths end up showing blue. By Mr. LIU on 2022-01-20
Question: Does anybody do anything else besides look at the moon? What else can you see? By *** on 2021-11-30
Answer: If you look at the moon I would suggest a moon filter, I found it to be very bright and uncomfortable to look at. I am searching for a moonfilter now that will work with this telescope and so far no luck. By Mr. LIU on 2021-12-21
Question: When the barlow lens is in, i cannot see anything when i insert the other 2 lenses into it. when i insert the other 2 direct, i can see things. why? By *** on 2021-11-24
Answer: I can think of two possible reasons: The telescope may not be lined up with the spotting scope really well. Using the Barlow means you'll have a smaller filed of view so it pointing the telescope at the object you want is critical. Also, I found I have to get my eye very close to the lens in the Barlow to be able to see what I want By Mr. LIU on 2021-11-30
